Welcome to the John Dickinson High School Sports Boosters Association! The JDHS Sports Boosters Association is a voluntary association of individuals organized to sponsor activities and programs that will provide an additional funding source to enhance the extra-curricular and approved intramural athletic programs at JDHS. The specific objectives of the organization are as follows:
1. To encourage excellence in athletic education, sportsmanship and performance
2. To support these efforts financially
3. To encourage student, parent, and community participation in the athletic program
4. To foster enjoyment of and encourage lifelong appreciation for athletics
5. To provide support and assistance to the athletes and coaches to obtain these objectives
6. To coordinate and cooperate with other Booster organizations at JDHS and the Dickinson Support Association (DSA) to the general benefit of the students, families, and staff of JDHS and the community in general
This year we will continue to run the after school concessions at the Ram Grand Slam Café, which is opened every day after school from 2:30 – 3:00. We also sell Rams apparel at the Ram Grand Slam Café and currently have a great selection of hoodies, sweatpants, long- and short-sleeved t-shirts available for sale (click here for more information). Take advantage of September’s Back-to-School specials with reduced pricing! In addition, we are partnering with the Performing Arts Boosters to run the concession stand at home football games. Come support the Rams!!
With a small group of sports boosters parents last year, we were able to raise over $10,000 for our JDHS athletic programs! Just think what we’d be able to accomplish with a few more volunteers! Please consider getting involved by becoming a member and volunteering a few hours to assist with the many activities scheduled this year, including bake sales, after-school and game concessions, holiday poinsettia sale, Spring Cleanup Day, membership drives and other fundraising activities. We hope you will join us in supporting our RAM student/athletes by becoming a member and volunteering your time today!
